它是关于网站设计师修造网站时必须考虑de东西。内容可普遍地适用于我们的每日生活上。

主题是不要网站用户用脑, 我们在网上全部成为文盲,不愿读指示。因此网站设计必须是自我说明(self illustrative)。

This is a book worth to read, its a Chinese version I borrowed from VPL ( Vancouver Public Library ) I think there must have an ebook version to download, let me know if anybody got one.

The theme of the book is about web site design, what a designer have to consider when he is building a web. But those points mentioned can universally apply to our day to day life....

Many people got the experience of entering a web site and than don't know what to do...my experience is, most people won't read the instruction listed but just follow their custom behavior , "Don't make me think" means the designer should me the web site in the way that surfer don't really need to THINK when they entered.

An example, when we are filling an online application form, after you click summit...there is a popup ...most of us won't read the wording but just see the button "OK".... people become illiterate online.
